Yuma County Science Fair
The annual Yuma County Science Expo is the biggest local educational program event of the year. Its purpose is not only to promote career interest in engineering and the sciences, but also to encourage and support sound instructional practices.
Southwestern Christian School participates in the exposition and regularly has students that are recognized for their academic achievement. In 2022 SWCS had 16 students who were recognized at the Expo. This year, 8 SWCS students, and 6 SWCS alumni will be recognized for excellence in their field of study.
Renaissance National Honor Roll

For the past six years Southwestern Christian School has earned Renaissance Learning's highest honor as a National Honor Roll School. Most years SWCS is the only school in Arizona to earn this distinction. We are very proud of the reading proficiency our students have achieved!
