Yuma County Science Fair

The annual Yuma County Science Expo is the biggest local educational program event of the year. Its purpose is not only to promote career interest in engineering and the sciences, but also to encourage and support sound instructional practices.

Southwestern Christian School participates in the exposition and regularly has students that are recognized for their academic achievement. Here are the students who earned recognition at the 2020 expo (2021 expo was canceled due to COVID-19) :

For the past six years Southwestern Christian School has earned Renaissance Learning's highest honor as a National Honor Roll School.  Most years SWCS is the only school in Arizona to earn this distinction.
